Prayer and Worship


Weekly Sunday services are at 9:00 am with childcare available.  

NEW JAN 2018:  Midweek Bible study Tuesdays at noon with eucharist. 


Throughout the year additional worship opportunities are offered

Liturgical Ministries

Chancel Choir

High school through adult is invited to join.  This choir rehearses the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month and then sings on the 3rd Sunday.  SATB.


Bell Choir

High school through adult.  Rehearses Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm.  


Saved by Grace band

Middle school through adult.  Every other Saturday practice during the school year.  Instrumentalists as well as vocalists lead worship once a month.


Women's Chorus

High school through adult.  Practices once a month at 8 am on Sunday.  Provides music for special holidays and All Choir Sundays.


Men's Chorus.  

High school through adult.  Practices once a month at 8 am on Sunday.  Provides music for special holidays and All Choir Sundays.

Instrumentalists
Anyone who plays a musical instrument at a moderate level of proficiency is invited to share their musical gifts. Instruments are used in many ways to enhance the music of the celebration. Time commitment varies according to the season, and your availability. 

Bread and Wine Servers
All ages are encouraged to minister by serving at Eucharistic celebrations. Training is provided, and a schedule is followed that honors your special requests. 

Readers

Readers of any age are invited to proclaim the Scripture at Sunday Eucharist, Feast Days, and other occasions. Training and pronunciation tips are provided, and a schedule is followed that honors your special requests. 

Ushers/Ministers of Hospitality
All ages are invited to serve as ushers.  Duties include opening doors, assisting worshipers as needed, distribute bulletins and hearing devices.


Greeters/Hosts

Any one can offer a smile, a handshake, a hug, or a hello to all who enter for worship. Their responsibility is to foster hospitality and to create a mood of friendship and joy, making extra efforts to make visitors and all feel at home. Training is provided, and a schedule is followed.

Prayer Chain


The purpose of our prayer chain is to provide spiritual support and healing for parishioners and their families and friends. When placing someone on the prayer chain, please obtain their permission when giving full names and circumstances. All prayers are kept confidential to our prayer warriors.

Your prayer request will be included in the daily prayers of our members.  You may continue to request prayers for prolonged illness. Feel free to send us back a "Prayers Answered" or "Thanksgiving" request upon resolution of the request, if appropriate. Parishioners and immediate family member names may be included in the bulletin following your request.
