“Reaching out to all people as Disciples of Christ, we serve God, proclaim our faith and care for all creation.”

Grace is a unique collection of the people of God. We are conservative and progressive. We are Republicans and Democrats. We are saints and sinners. In spite of what boxes our society wants to place us in, we as a congregation place ourselves at the foot of the cross, first and foremost. We make it a goal of ours to walk out the reality of Ephesians 4:1-3. To that end we acknowledge and understand that God’s grace is available to all. As agents of that grace, we are called to welcome anyone who seeks to attach themselves to God. As a Reconciling in Christ congregation we extend a welcome to members of the (LGBTQIA+) Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender community as well as people from other ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. We strive in our community of diverse viewpoints to open our hearts to all who want to worship and grow with us.

Have you been trying to earn favor with God by living a lie and pretending you are straight? Have you been trying to earn your own salvation by being celibate and living in loneliness and pain? Put down your burden on Jesus. He says to you today, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matt. 11:2). Know that your answer is the love and grace of Jesus Christ.
